Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research in 1984, Sri Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust established Bharath Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) as Tamil Nadu's first self-financing Engineering College. As a result, the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) educates almost 10,000 students from all over the world in a multi-stream, multi-cultural, and high-quality environment. Bharath Institute obtained an 'A' grade and a 3.2 score and NIRF ranking 59 in year 2020. Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research is a "Deemed University" in Tamil Nadu, India.

As a result, a professional and devoted faculty provides students with a choice of theoretical and practical courses in the designated subjects.
