It received its deemed to be university status in 2003. It is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade, Score: 3.31 and has received ISO Certification. The institute provides highly educated and qualified faculty members under all the departments and courses provided under this college.

Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute has introduced 13 online degree programmes namely- MSc. in statistics, mathematics, MA in 6 courses, BBA, MBA, B.COM, M.COM and BA in English. Institute have tailored these online courses keeping in view the learning needs of 21st-century students and working professionals.

Steps to take online admission/registration at Dr. M.G.R. EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Step 1: Visit the official website of dr. M.G.R. educational and research institute, and get yourself registered by clicking on the new registration tab available. Fill in the required details like Applicant’s name, email address, and mobile number.

Step 2: Moving forward to the second step, the candidate should fill the academic details, employer, payment and in last need to submit the required documents.

Step 3: After completing the application form and the students would be provided with reference numbers initially and would be guided by the provisional admission policy as mentioned below.

Note: Along with study materials and login information for the learning management system, the students will also receive an acknowledgement letter with a reference number, and the enrollment number will be sent to their registered email address. This would depend on the university account clearing the associated fees. The mandatory documents and online fees receipt can be submitted online by email to the university counsellor.

The candidate should have passed 10+2, HSC for or ICSE or equivalent for UG courses. The candidate should possess a Bachler degree for PG courses.
